Tax code for the current fiscal year i.e. 2017-18 is 1150L. This means personal allowance for the 2017-18 tax year is £11,500. Previous year i.e. 2016-17 tax code was 1100L and the personal allowance was £11,000. Below tax rates will apply to you if your income crosses £11,500 in the 2017-18 tax year.
